Each year Council celebrates Australia Day with Australia Day Awards, Citizenship Ceremony and free family friendly BBQ lunch and entertainment. The Awards celebration event is held to recognise people who have made a noteworthy contribution to our community over a number of years.
Nominations for the 2016 Australia Day Awards will open in October 2015.
