Mount Alexander Shire Council conducts Citizenship Ceremonies on behalf of the Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs.

Once your application is approved, by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship will contact Council, and we will invite you to attend a Citizenship Ceremony where your Australian Citizenship will be conferred.
Citizenship Ceremonies are conducted by the Mayor. Family and friends are welcome to attend and observe this memorable occasion.
