Event Application Kit

Mount Alexander Shire welcomes Community Events, Festivals, Exhibitions, Fairs and Musical Concerts.

We have designed a “one-stop shop” Event Guide and Application Kit for everything public event-related. It is designed to provide you, the event organiser, with the knowledge and detail required to run safe, successful events. When preparing for an event, please ensure you have submitted Part 3: the Event Form at least ten weeks prior to the event, to allow for processing time.

Mount Alexander Shire strives to support Community Events, Festivals, Exhibition, Fairs and Musical Concerts within the Shire. Mount Alexander Shire is keen to assist event organisers with promoting their community events on the Shire Events Web page and within the Tourism Web Listings. Across Mount Alexander Shire many townships have their own Community Events Board, to promote events occurring within the township.

Currently there are Township Events Boards located within Taradale, Harcourt, Guildford, Campbells Creek, Castlemaine, Barkers Creek, Chewton, Newstead and several in Maldon.
