Planning, strategies and projects

Council has developed a range of strategies that influence planning and the works undertaken on recreation facilities and reserves across Mount Alexander Shire. These include;

Council is currently working on a Minor Reserves Strategy to document and develop plans for 10 minor reserves in the Shire. Council is also developing a Public Open Space strategy to plan the strategic direction for the development of open space within the Shire.

Council is continually working towards improving the health and wellbeing of our community and promote physical activity. Some of our recent and current projects include:
